When the Mountains Remember is my second release and is an 'as
is' album. Meaning I have only used instruments and effects that I can
reproduce live on stage in the recording which has given the album an
earthy, honest and crisp sound.
The album fuses influences of
Celtic, Acoustic, Folk and Pop music with a little funkyness thown in
just to keep it moving (and you!). The instruments included are
acoustic and electric guitar, synthesiser (played via a foot
controller), harmonicas, a hand shaker and a stomp box.
The only instruments pre-recorded for live use (and the album) are hand drums.
I programmed all the synthesiser sounds with the aim of creating the vibe of old world instruments.
